North Narrabeen 2101
Travertine sealing for North Narrabeen homes
North Narrabeen is in the Northern Beaches Council area, about 10 minutes from our base in Elanora Heights. North Narrabeen sits at the entrance to Narrabeen Lake, around the headland and the surf break that put it on the map.
Travertine near the ocean soaks up salt, which crystallises in the holes and pores. A breathable sealer keeps most of it near the surface.
How often in North Narrabeen
For most North Narrabeen homes, travertine sealing is worth doing every 2 to 3 years. Salt and sand build up quickly this close to the water.

How often should travertine sealing be done in North Narrabeen?
For most homes in North Narrabeen, every 2 to 3 years. Homes close to the water need it more often.
Do you offer travertine sealing across North Narrabeen?
Yes. North Narrabeen is about 10 minutes from our base in Elanora Heights, and we also work in Narrabeen and Warriewood nearby.
What affects the price of travertine sealing in North Narrabeen?
Mostly the size of the area and the surfaces involved. We inspect first and give you a fixed price, itemised by surface.
Does travertine need to be sealed?
Outdoors and around pools, yes. Unsealed travertine soaks up salt, sunscreen and stains.
Will sealing make my travertine slippery?
Not with a penetrating sealer, which soaks in and leaves no film on top.
How long does travertine sealer last?
Usually several years outdoors, depending on sun, pool use and cleaning. A water test shows when it's time.
